Moussa Sissoko has had a turbulent spell at Tottenham so far, but somehow almost three years into his time at North London he’s won over supporters.
Spurs signed the midfielder for £30million (BBC) back in the 2016 summer transfer window and his price tag immediately got the better of him.
He endured a horrid first year with Spurs, where he turned in countless shocking performances and struggled to nail down a spot in the team.
The France international had his fair share of criticism during the 2017/18 campaign too, but there can be no denying his vast improvement this season.
Sissoko is now an ever-present in the starting XI alongside teammate Harry Winks and ultimately manager Mauricio Pochettino deserves immense credit.
Pochettino has stood by the central midfielder where surely most others would have not and he’s now reaping the rewards this season.
It’s an incredible feat from Pochettino that he’s managed to turn a Spurs flop into someone that the fans now adore and is an integral part of the side.

Sissoko has moved into the centre of the park and simplified his game this campaign, which appears to have cut out the sloppiness on the ball.
His incredible work-rate and powerful running from midfield is a key component to the team too that can’t be underestimated.
Pochettino is considered one of the best man-managers around by many and Sissoko’s story is clearly an example of that.
